Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing some snaps from our special day. Today, it’s all about my outfit (arguably the most important part!)
(Silk robe for wedding morning, Victoria’s Secret)
After trying on everything from 1920s style Jenny Packham to Suzanne Neville princess gowns, I fell for Anita, a beautiful lace dress by British designer, Augusta Jones. I customised it ever so slightly with tailoring around my hips and the addition of an ivory silk bow belt to give more definition to my waist.
I decided on Manolo Blahnik Hangisi satin heels for my “something blue” before even looking at dresses! They are the most beautiful shoes I’ve ever set eyes on!
Stockist: Liberty in London.
I wanted to look really romantic so I wore a flower crown. I was a little nervous about how it was going to turn out (and even sent a last minute email to the florist asking her to make it smaller!) but I absolutely LOVED it. In the evening I changed into a handmade headpiece.
Hair & Make Up: Special thanks to my friend Rose, an amazing make up artist, for making me feel lovely on the day.
