Seaside & Songs in the big Smoke

Cocktails in a Beach Hut

Who’d have thought you could find the seaside in central London?

Views from Vintage Salt

I surprised my mum with a trip to London and we had such a great time! First up, lunch at Selfridge’s rooftop restaurant, Vintage Salt, which was really cool. We loved the cocktails (the British G&Tea was amazing) and seaside decor. The food was good, but I’d recommend it more for the ambience. The glorious sunshine really did make us feel like we were on holiday in Cornwall.

After lunch, we caught the matinee of Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly Theatre. For anyone who hasn’t seen it… add it to your list! The music of Franki Valli is, of course, incredible, but what makes it even more special is the play’s gritty storyline and emotion. I first saw the show in Vegas and was lucky enough to see Franki Valli perform in concert, but I could still see it again!
