New England Adventure – Boston

Besides from falling asleep at the dinner table (literally), Boston was lots of fun…

Rooftop Garden at the XV Beacon

The first stop on our New England honeymoon tour was Boston and we checked-in at the amazing XV Beacon. And what a stunning hotel it was. Tip: Ollie signed up for free iPrefer membership in advance which led to us getting an awesome upgrade to a suite and $100 resort credit. Definitely worth doing!

The hotel was sheer quality. From the cashmere throw on the bed…

…to the stylish sitting area.

   And the heavenly bathroom!

After checking in, we headed out for a walk around Beacon Hill and to our favourite shops on Newbury Street.

Awkward posing on a bridge!

In the evening, we made the most of the rooftop garden and enjoyed XV Beacon’s amazing views, before sharing a bottle of Veuve in its Mooo Bar and dinner at Abe and Louie’s (where, after another bottle and being awake for 24 hours straight, I may have nodded off while waiting for the hotel car to pick us up!)

Amazing views over the city
