Ross on Wye

Weekend drive

Ollie and I decided to take a drive through the countryside this weekend and headed up to the historic market town of Ross on Wye.

After looking around its quaint antique, books and art shops, we stumbled upon The Royal Hotel, where we had a spot of lunch outside. It’s a fantastic Grade II listed Georgian building with wonderful views over the Wye Valley – and is said to have been frequented by Charles Dickens! The food, however, was pretty average.
